The ENDEAVOURS SUMMER PROGRAMME 2023, with a focus on conservation research, is designed in collaboration with Agumbe Rainforest Research Station, Agumbe as part of our combined vision towards environmental education and outreach.

ESP 2023 is the first edition of a Summer Programme, drawing from the modules of the Mind The Gap Year Programme and the field programmes running through the year for school and college students. The Mind The Gap Year Programme ran 2 online editions in 2020 and 2021 due to lockdown restrictions. ESP 2023 combines the academic modules from MTGYP and the field modules from our outdoor programmes in response to the dearth of opportunities for young people on the cusp of their careers to engage with professionals and their practice before having to choose academic and/or career paths.

The programme aims to offer a glimpse of what goes on behind-the-scenes in a research and conservation organisation and enable students to broaden their understanding of the basics of conservation research through live interactive discussions, field visits and a personal project.
